Tuition takes place in small groups with a maximum of 5 students per class. In order to preserve a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, a maximum of 15 students a week are taught. Every Monday, the students are divided into classes according to their level.

Individual tuition, generally in the afternoon, is possible by arrangement.

After class, you have more than enough time to acquaint yourselves with the people and their country. The Italian afternoon begins at 4 o'clock at the earliest and shops are open until at least 8 o'clock. From Castellina some truly beautiful towns are only an hour away by car, so there is time to really enjoy the hustle and bustle of life there. But there are also beautiful sandy beaches just 15 minutes away by car, or a cycle ride over the hilltops from Riparbella to Santa Luce will show you one of the most spectacular routes of the whole area.
All accommodation is provided in Castellina and the surrounding area. Whether in a hotel, private apartment, holiday home, on an estate (agriturismo) or even camping site, it's your holiday, and we attach great importance to making sure you stay just there where you feel most comfortable.
Dates
Throughout the year, classes always begin on Monday, from April until October.
The course fee is 356 € per week and includes the following:
- 25 hours of tuition a week in small groups.
- a communal Italian lunch with the teachers after classes daily.
- 10 hours of conversation per week during lunch.
- beverages and snacks during the break.
- the support in finding accommodation in Castellina Marittima or nearby.
- organisation of excursions, wine and/or olive oil tastings, cookery courses (optional depending on interest).
The course price for every subsequent week is 320 €, with no reduction in services provided.
On request, individual tuition can be arranged, generally in the afternoons, for a price of 26 or 22 € per hour.
Arrivals and departures
Ideally, you will arrive by car. This allows you to explore Tuscany under your own steam.
For arrivals by plane, choose Pisa airport, which is only 40 minutes away from Castellina Marittima. Several airlines are now offering flights to Pisa for less than 20 € one-way (e.g. Hapag Lloyd, Ryanair)! At Pisa airport it is also possible to rent a car.
Alternatively, you can continue your journey by train. In which case, we recommend that your destination is Livorno, Rosignano, Cecina or Vada.
