Accademia Lingua e Gusto - Language and (Good) Taste

"Lingua" ...
Lingua - Learning the language should not take up your entire holiday. These days are precious enough. The language aspect should serve to enrich and intensify your holiday experience. This we achieve in small groups with a maximum of 5 students. And we can confirm from our own experience that just one week of tuition can be enough, as it gives you the motivation needed to build on what you have already learnt. Which is why you can join us as any every week, although most students prefer to stay a little longer.

We are particularly proud of our teachers, all of whom, without exception, have a degree and years of experience as teachers. But even more important than that, they are people who love their country and their language and wish to share this enthusiasm with you, without however losing sight of the teaching aspect and the learning goals.

      ... e "Gusto"
Gusto - good taste and Italy. Do these two terms not by definition belong together? Just spend a couple of hours absorbing Lucca, Sienna or Florence, and you will understand what we mean.

And taste is not just a word. As everyone knows, "the way to a person's heart is through their stomach". But don't you find that it's pretty much the same with the Italian language? Allow, if you will, delicious words such as spaghetti alle vongole, bisteccha fiorentina, crostini toscani, torta della nonna to melt on your tongue ....

For us these different aspects of taste therefore play an important role. So, after class our students and teachers eat lunch together, thereby enabling you to practise and consolidate in a relaxed atmosphere that which you have learnt

Seeing as how you are lucky enough to be staying in one of the most renowned wine regions, it also makes sense to take the time to enjoy it. On guided tours through world-famous vineyards you will not only have the chance to savour genuine Tuscan hospitality, but also some of the very best wines! We are also happy to provide these tours in your own language, with a brief introduction for our wine lovers in our school first in preparation for this exquisite epicurean experience.
